Sometimes I have the worst ideas! Last night I thought it would be fun/relaxing to watch Finding Nemo as a family. Sounds okay right? Wrong!
1. The movie started later than I wanted - I think it was about 8:15 - should have been the first clue that things weren't going to go well.
2. Nameless child spilled half melted ice cream on carpet and proceeded to dip newly washed hair into it.
3. Nameless child spilled milk on kitchen floor.
4. Different nameless child was shrieking in fear throughout 70% of the movie, hiding in the kitchen for 25% and actually enjoying 5%. And I thought Finding Nemo was a family movie!
5. Nameless child spilled apple juice on island and floor in kitchen.
6. Movie ends long after usual bedtime.
7. Yet another different nameless child has hysterical fit that mommy won't carry him upstairs which leads to coughing which leads to puking.
8. Nameless child, in an attempt to be helpful, assists younger child in brushing teeth AND pushes him onto the step stool - this ISN'T helpful and nameless younger child falls over step stool, banging head on bathtub. More hysterical crying!
9. Nameless child who is constipated ISN'T! Who poops at ten pm??
And there you have it - the perfect family movie night! Finding Nemo will be promptly returned to the library!

Wow, I haven't had anything to say in a long time! Mostly I was freaked out that someone found my blog and I became skittish! But it's okay - the masses that follow this amazing blog will just have to deal with it. We've had amazing fall weather, and I'm looking forward to the holidays. It's a bit of a lame post, but that's all I got!

My funny Dad turned 60 today - he handed out amazing gifts and I think he should turn 60 more often!

Well - my friend has been home from vacation for a whole day and hasn't done a vacation blog yet - what is she doing?? C'mon, I'm waiting to see pictures of happy family memories!

Thank You Lord for VBS and all you and the kids are teaching me.

Three inches of water in the basement - it will be good cause to purge! Thanks Lord for the rain and that my husband stayed home to help.
